The purpose of this website is to provide information on the Carscreugh Renewable Energy Park wind farm and provide details and regular updates on the construction process for the project.
Throughout the construction process we have a strong commitment to work closely with local community, as well as the community council and other groups and organisations, providing regular updates on the wind farm construction activity. This will be undertaken through regular newsletters and community events where you will have the opportunity to view details of the construction process, meet the team and ask questions.

The wind farm was sold by Gamesa, a global technology leader in wind energy, to international specialist investor and asset manager, John Laing in June 2013. Under the agreement Gamesa will also carry out operations and maintenance services at the facility for 10 years – click here for further information.

Public exhibition
A public exhibition was held on Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th June from 4pm-8pm at the Kelvin House Hotel in Glenluce, giving the public the opportunity to view details of the construction process, meet the team and ask questions.
